Students at GFW High School helped to kick off Grackle Days today with drive your ag equipment to school day!
Student in the Healthcare and Sports Medicine Career class got to take a field trip to Ridgewater campus in Hutchinson to explore their healthcare programming opportunities.
They learned about the Medical Assisting, Massage Therapy, Paramedic and Nursing programs and were given hands-on opportunities to explore skills in these areas, such as phlebotomy, auscultating heart and lungs sounds, exploring emergency medication, trauma and CPR resuscitation measures, and practiced taking vital signs on each other!
Kindergartners have big ideas for what a new school should look like including a garden, a really, really, really, really big playground, a football field, play room, maker space and more!
Fifth graders had a little fun in the sunshine today where they used sidewalk chalk to design what a new school could look like!
